Planning a bachelorette party in Tulum? Let me tell you—this destination did not disappoint! We skipped the beachfront resorts and opted to stay in the hotel and Airbnb district near town, which gave us more space, privacy, and flexibility. From private transportation to over-the-top dinners and the best themed night ever, here’s how we celebrated my dirty thirty and bachelorette in style!
Day 1: Arrival & RIP Themed Night
We kicked things off by booking private transportation through our Airbnb host. They worked with Serendipity, a company that made airport pickups so much easier—especially since getting Ubers or cabs in Tulum can be a real challenge. Having a driver for our entire stay was definitely worth it!
RIP to My 20s & Last Name Theme Night
Since I was celebrating both my 30th birthday and my upcoming wedding, we went all in on a RIP Night theme! Everyone wore all black, fully embracing the “death” of my last name and my 20s. (Highly recommend this theme if you’re looking for something fun, cheeky, and dramatic!)
To keep the theme going, we ordered a custom red velvet cake from Creamin Pastelria that was delivered straight to our Airbnb. And let me tell you—it was DELICIOUS. There’s nothing like kicking off a weekend of celebrations with cake!

Dinner at Ilios
For our first dinner, we booked a table at Ilios, a Greek restaurant with major party vibes. Again, we used Serendipity for transportation, which made getting there seamless. Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning to go:
- Price: They offer a family-style dining option for $100 per person—a great way to try multiple dishes!
- Dietary Accommodations: A few girls in our group had gluten and dairy allergies, and Ilios was able to accommodate.
- Food: Everything was so good! Fresh, flavorful, and worth the price.
- Vibes: Think high-energy, almost club-like. There are fire shows, music, and lots of entertainment. It definitely set the tone for the weekend.
- The Only Downside? The music is insanely loud—so loud that it was impossible to chat with people across the table. But if you’re there to party, you’ll love it!
- Mocktails: For the sober girls on the trip, Ilios had some amazing non-alcoholic options!
We ended up staying until around midnight before heading back to our Airbnb to rest up for the next day’s adventures.

Day 2: Yoga, Private Brunch & The Best Boat Day Ever
After a high-energy first night, we started Day 2 on a much more zen note.
Morning Yoga & Sound Bath with Adri
We booked a yoga and sound bath session with the most amazing instructor, Adri (@adrisanroman_), and I cannot recommend her enough! Her session was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge before another big day. The combination of movement, breathwork, and sound healing was magical—if you’re looking for a way to bring some relaxation into your bachelorette itinerary, this is it!

Private Brunch with UNEM
After yoga, we were starving, so we had two private chefs from UNEM come to our Airbnb to cook us brunch. And wow—they were AMAZING!
- They created a massive spread with tons of delicious options.
- Everything was made fresh, and they were super accommodating for the girls with gluten and dairy allergies.
- Bonus: We had so many leftovers that we were snacking on them for days!
If you’re considering hiring a private chef for your trip, DO IT. This was hands down one of the best meals of the trip, and having it right in our Airbnb made the whole experience feel extra special.

Boat Day on the Lazy Linda Catamaran
After brunch, we headed out for one of the biggest highlights of the trip—our boat day with Beyond the Experience on the Lazy Linda catamaran. And let me just say… this crew was next level!
- They made sure our sober girls had amazing virgin drinks so no one felt left out.
- The food? Incredible! Fresh guac, ceviche, and gluten-free chips, all made right on board.
- They took us to a private beach to go swimming and he color of the water was UNREAL.
- Our photographer even managed to get to us at the beach on a surfboard, thanks to the crew’s help!
Honestly, this boat day was perfect. The vibes, the service, the scenery—if you do one thing in Tulum, book a boat with Beyond the Experience.

Taco & Nacho Night In
Originally, we had dinner reservations at Rosa Negra, but after such a jam-packed day, we decided to cancel and stay in. Instead, we ordered a feast of tacos and nachos using Rappi (a delivery app in Mexico) and dressed up for a Tequila Sunrise theme. It was the perfect way to end the night.
- Super easy to use
- Tons of food options
- Delivery straight to our Airbnb
Sometimes, the best nights are the chill ones, and after all the sun and fun, a laid-back taco night was exactly what we needed.

Day 3: Beach Club & The Most Magical Dinner Ever
For our final full day in Tulum, we soaked up the sun, danced by the beach, and ended the trip with the most magical dinner experience ever.
Beach Club at Taboo
We started the day with leftovers from brunch (still amazing), then headed to Taboo Beach Club for a full day of sun and music.
✔ 50% of your prepaid amount goes toward food & drinks (but we didn’t even use it all since so many of us weren’t drinking!).
✔ Vibes were on point—great music and service.
✔ Easy access to the beach—you can just hop in the ocean whenever you want!
✔ Mocktail-friendly—they could make any drink virgin.
Since we had extra prepaid credit, we ended up sending bottles of tequila to other bachelorettes—which felt like the ultimate girl supporting girl moment.

The Most Unforgettable Dinner at Azulik
We wrapped up the trip with the BEST dining experience of my entire life—dinner at Azulik in a private nest.
✔ Dining in a treehouse in the sky—literal magic.
✔ Yes, it’s pricey—you pay a nest rental fee + $150 per person minimum.
✔ BUT WORTH IT—outstanding service, unreal food, and breathtaking views.
✔ You can cook THE BEST Wagyu steak on a mini fire grill!
✔ They let us connect our own music to a Bluetooth speaker – which kept the vibes so high all night!
✔ A shaman came to bless us & lead a gratitude prayer—a deeply moving experience and right up my alley.
Final thought: Save up and DO THIS. It was truly the perfect way to end the trip, and my heart felt so full.
